Located in the heart of the Crosby-Ironton community, Immanuel is a family-friendly faith community with people of all ages and faith backgrounds. The word “Immanuel” means “God With Us.”
We worship and celebrate the God who promises to be not only with us, but also for us, as revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is our hope and prayer that you will find many ways within the life of this faith community to experience and grow in the love of Jesus Christ.

Announcing: The 99th Annual Meeting -Celebrating the Life & Mission of God among the people of Immanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 5, 2012.
Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brainerd has a new name! Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brainerd has changed its name to Truth Lutheran Church. The change comes about after receiving encouragement from several folks to take a step of faith and move out on our own. Please know that the members of the Brainerd congregation sincerely appreciate all that Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crosby has done for them in the process of starting a new congregation. Your help included your prayers, your support and your encouragement.
Prayerful support from Immanuel of Crosby was the most powerful, important factor in the initial phase of beginning this endeavor. Your support consisted of Ginny Larson keeping track of contributions and placing them in a special account so that Lee Russell had funds to pay our bills. your church council agreed to serve in an advisory capacity for oversight and accountability. Your church staff, particularly Laura Hann, helped with little things like communion supplies, making copies,name tags, and other small things that appear to be huge when you have no church office.
Finally, Pastor Paul played a major role in advising, and offering words of support and encouragement. Truth Lutheran Church meets at 9 am on Sundays at the Brainerd Hotel o South 6th Street. Your continued encouragement and prayers are needed. if you have friends or family in the Brainerd area, please encourage them to visit Truth Lutheran Church.
